First Meet and Greet Was A Success!
So this week the first of the meet and greet vids will go live on YouTube and I must say I had an absolute blast! I Took the Wolverine X4 and the Pioneer 500 and both conquered the terrain without difficulty. Granted the trails at Rock Run Recreation were not difficult, save for one section properly named the Boulder Garden, but as the parks name implies most of the trails were strewn with rocks and boulders making for slower, yet enjoyable trails.
This was my first trip with the X4 other than the trails around my house and I must say the Yami did not disappoint. The comfort of the machine is just unreal and all though I did plan on riding in the P5 a bit (if Seth would have let me that is)I spent all day in the X4. Save for one hill climb I just had to go up to show off the "goatness" of Mighty Mouse...LOL. The smaller size of the X4 compared to the Pionner 1000-5 was a Godsend for this trip. In some of the vids to come you will see some of the winding, narrow, paths through the woods we flew through and I know had I still had the 1000, it would have been a tight fit in places and I would not have been able to go as fast.
The weather was a bit on the cold and wet side which did keep us from getting into too deep of water or mud, but from all the rain we have been getting this year and what we had just gotten earlier in the week, the trails had an abundance of water to play in. As you will see in part one. The X4 however did an excellent job of keeping most of it off of us and out of the cab. Well, except for this one hole...lol. But I'm not going to spoil it for you.
Overall I was very happy with the turn out and the day as a whole. My goal for next year is to do a "Tour of Pa" and hit all the trail systems in Pennsylvania that I can. I'm going to make each trip a meet and greet so that I can have more opportunities to get together and spend a day riding with you if you're able to make it out to one, or several of them. In the next couple months I'm going to work on getting a schedule made up so that you know where and when I'll be riding well in advance so you can plan accordingly. There are a few systems that are open to atv's and sxs's through winter so I plan on kicking off the "Tour of Pa" with one of them in January so keep that in the back of your mind if you don't mind riding in the cold and snow. Though the winters we've had the past couple years haven't amounted to much snow in January so it might not be too bad.
Also keep an eye out for my new review system explanation vid later in the week. It will give you the run down on all the areas I'm looking at when reviewing a machine. My goal is to have the most in depth and comprehensive reviews on YouTube and I'll be doing some things as part of the review that I don't think anyone else has done. The goal will be to give you a easy way to compare different machines so that when the time comes to lay your hard earned money down on one, you can have confidence that it's the perfect machine for you.
I'm hoping to be able to bring you a lot of reviews in 2019, both new and old(cause with as expensive as these things are getting now a day's the used market is going to explode) so if you like my content then please take the time to share my video's with those you know who may like it too. That way, as my channel grows it will be a lot easier to get the support I need to be able to get the machines to review.
Finally, before you go, if you know of any good trail systems in Pa shot me an email so I can add them to the list for the "Tour of Pa" and hopefully I'll get to see you on the trail sometime next year.
Till then...
Keep On Riding!
